Hello sushi lovers, welcome to The Perfect Bite. My name is Danielle Torres and I will be your sushi chef this evening.
Originally from Moab, Utah I moved to Salt Lake City to attend the University of Utah. In 2002, I landed a gig at Tsunami and moved my way through the ranks. Ten years ago, one of the owners offered me an apprenticeship to become a sushi chef. I happily accepted the invitation, learned from great teachers, and worked for Tsunami through 2011 before making the move to Park City.
In 2007, I devoted my time to private sushi parties and getting creative. When catering, I use many unique flavors and seasonal ingredients you wonâ€™t find at a traditional sushi bar. My distinctive rolls elicit a common response, â€śPerfect,â€ť ecstatic clients murmur. Thus, the inspiration for my business: The Perfect Bite.
My favorite way to create sushiÂ is omakase, or chef’s choice. With this freedom, I make whatever inspires me. This entertains clients and leaves their mouths watering in anticipation for the next course. I highly recommend you opt for omakase for your next private party or special event. You will be delighted.
